Transport Canada’s regulatory measure for watercraft exceeding 13 metres who navigated in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Transport Canada is committed to the protection and recovery of the North Atlantic right whale, an endangered species. Measures are being taken to help protect this endangered species in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Static and dynamic speed limit zone measures, which are subject to review on an annual basis, are for watercraft exceeding 13 metres.
